Google antitrust hearings

July 15, 2008

Too in-depth for me to try to analyze for a post, here’s an article by TechCrunch on the hearings today. Of course, Microsoft (who has dealt with its fair share of antitrust complaints on the opposite side), is the plaintiff. Microsoft says the deal will lead to higher prices for advertisers, fewer options, and privacy issues. Google responds that consumers will see better and and click-throughs will improve.

Too big, too unresponsive, not taking responsibility for their actions

Ad Words has created millions on “clutter pages” full of questionable quality and suspect motive ..

  2. Biggest spammer on the net is Google with their Ad Words program

It’s not about content any more .. it’s about making a couple of “pay for click dollars” a month
